      Cavanaugh Mims established himself as a senior program/project manager for the Department of Energy and performed as a station nuclear engineer for the Tennessee Valley Authority developing ~16 years of federal government professional expertise in his field.   As President of VS, Mr. Mims has dedicated himself to various large scale government projects for the transportation and management of hazardous and radioactive waste.  As a program manager for these projects he ensures seamless integration of various transportation services to create a full range of products that instill a higher quality standard for safe and effective transportation.  Mr. Mims has supported the development of new technologies for packaging sensitive materials; as well as new technology for tracking shipments more efficiently.  Additionally, he acts as a main point of contact for the DUF6 campaign; responsible for the transportation of cylinders to Portsmouth and for various other activities at the Portsmouth location.  In 2005, Mr. Mims was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award as President of the East Tennessee Environmental Business Association and presently remains an active board member.  As a leader in this industry Mr. Mims continues to participate in several community events and believes in supporting his community.  He has supported the mentor protégé program for students interested in pursuing a technical career; as well as various other programs for the Oak Ridge Children’s Museum and Boys Club. 
         
     
Dee Markelonis has an accumulated wealth of knowledge in regulatory compliance, waste management and transportation comprising  approximately 19 years of experience in RCRA, TSCA, CERCLA, CAA, and DOT as well as Department of Energy (DOE) Orders, Agreements, and Federal Acts.  She has provided technical support, interpretation, and implementation of these regulatory requirements for various government entities and clients.  Her experience includes 5 years of managing waste profiling, contracts and shipping for a treatment, storage and disposal facility and over 9 years as an environmental compliance specialist for a prime contractor for DOE.  In May 2000, Ms. Markelonis and Mr. Mims joined forces combining several years of experience in government and transportation relations alike to build a fully developed transportation program with a complete range of services to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance with every shipment.  Tracking Services, New Packaging Technologies, Regulatory Training and Emergency Preparedness Training; as well as Technical Services (compliance, audits, assessments, and shipping services) were developed and implemented as a total package of solutions for government and client transportation and logistics needs.  Ms. Markelonis has acted as the program manager recently on a variety of sensitive shipping campaigns and transportation projects; including the recent transportation of 1,888 shipments of Silos 1 and 2 containers from Fernald, Ohio to WCS in Andrews, Texas.  Ms. Markelonis provides Visionary Solutions, with the regulatory knowledge and experience needed to govern transportation projects of a sensitive and highly visible nature with professionalism and quality.  In addition to her many contributions to the field of regulatory compliance and transportation, Ms. Markelonis is also very devoted to serving her community.  Through core Christian values and inspiration she gives back to the community.  She is an active Board Member for the United Way of Anderson County.  She is dedicated to assisting charities such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Knox Area Rescue Ministries, Shriners’ Hospitals, and others associated with children, battered women, and emergency responders.
         
     
Warren Baugh has a detailed background in both the government and commercial transportation industries.  As a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, he served in the US Navy Supply Corp working within the logistics community.  Afterward, he gained intricate experience particularly in the areas of radioactive and hazardous materials transportation through positions in project management for a large Third Party Logistics provider in the commercial industry.  Utilizing this experience, Mr. Baugh founded and served as the President/CEO of an SBA 8(a) minority-owned trucking company, Southern Pines Trucking, Inc.  The company focused on radioactive and hazardous materials transportation, but also had divisions serving the automotive manufacturing and steel industries.  He now serves as the General Manager of Transportation & Logistics Services for Visionary Solutions.  In this role he is responsible for all the transportation and logistics for the organization, including the scheduling of all resources, customer and company coordination and the safe, compliant delivery of materials via a custom-fit solution.   Mr. Baugh is involved in various charities and has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations, with a focus on youth development, such as the Boy Scouts of America and Girls Hope of Pittsburgh.
         
     
George Taylor has over 25 years of commercial and government related experience in engineering, technical management and business development.  He has held positions in manufacturing, engineering, research and development, contracts, project management, program development, marketing and business development.  He has worked for large and small businesses including Armco Steel, Lockheed Martin, BWXT and now serves as the General Manager of Technical Services for Visionary Solutions.  In this role he is charged with identifying and executing technical opportunities “upstream” of typical transportation and logistics problems.  His organization seeks to support customers with difficult and unique challenges by delivering Solutions that add value through increased efficiencies, recouped schedules and savings to the bottom line.  Mr. Taylor has a Bachelor’s in Materials Science Engineering from Rice University and a Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University.  His hobbies include golf and traveling.
