Visionary Solutions began performance as the small business prime contractor to the Department of Energy, Carlsbad Field Office for the TRU Transportation Services Contract in September 2007 and continues to strive for the safest and highest quality of transport services for this contract today.

VS is responsible for transporting TRU waste from across the DOE complex nationwide on the TRU Transportation Services contract. It currently owns and maintains 15 specially equipped exclusive tractors, and manages 26 drivers for this project located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

VS has successfully coordinated safe delivery of ~ approx. 1457 shipments over 1,479,757 miles on the TRU Transport Campaign to Aug 09.

VS also owns and operates a secured terminal facility in the local Carlsbad, NM vicinity.

VS manages the transportation services for the Department of Energy on the TRU Transportation Services contract; providing transport for both contact-handled (CH)_and remote-handled (RH) transuranic wastes. Responsibilities include providing DOE approved facilities, personnel, and equipment for this project.

VS recently completed the transport of nearly 4,000 containers of Silos 1 and Silos 2 LLRW containers transported from Fluor Fernald, Ohio to Waste Control Specialists, TX.
